Fluoroboric Acid specification:
Properties: Colorless transparent liquid; relative density is about 1.37; blendable and soluble in water and alcohol; decompose when heated to 130°C; can react with metallic element, metallic fluoride, oxide, hydroxid or carbonate to produce corresponding fluoborate; toxic.
Use: Fluoroboric acid is the main component of electroplate liquid. It can be used as catalyst for alkylation and polymerization, and is the material to make various fluoborate. Its 2.5% solution can be used to electrolytically polish pure aluminum. Moreover, it can be used to clean and corrode metal surface oxide and silicate film.
